The purpose of Contractor Compliance is to monitor the employment related activities of all SHA prime construction contractors and sub-contractors by ensuring non-discrimination in contract compliance activities and Equal Employment Opportunity for the contractor’s workforce.

SHA is committed to maintain an active Contractor Compliance Program to ensure non-discrimination of the contractor’s employment practices as required by federal regulation. This requirement is based on the regulations and statutes such as Executive Order 11246 and Executive Order 11375 as set forth in the Required Contract Provisions and in accordance with 23 CFR Chapter 230. This commitment extends to the workforce of all SHA construction contractors. The SHA will work with all contractors in carrying out equal employment opportunity obligations in the review of his/her activities in accordance with the contract documents.
