April 19, 2006 ADDENDUM NO. 1 CONTRACT NO.: XX8095177 F.A.P. NO.: AC-STP-000A (195) E DESCRIPTION: Grind, Mill, Patch and Resurface Roadway Pavements at Various Locations in Dorchester County TO ALL PURCHASERS OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: The Bid Opening Date for this project is still APRIL 27, 2006 The attention of prospective bidders is directed to the following revisions, additions, and/or deletions to the Invitation for Bids Booklet and/or Plan Sheets: INVITATION FOR BIDS Page Revision Description 49 CHANGE WITH PEN AND INK : WORK SCHEDULE LIQUIDATED DAMAGES Second sentence should read: .If the Contractor fails to begin work within 10 Calendar days of notification for each location, the sum of $1,000.00 per Calendar day for each working day beyond the 10 Calendar day notification period will be deducted from any money due to the Contractor, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages. 50 CHANGE WITH PEN AND INK : GENERAL ISSUES Paragraph 4 should read: 4. All millings will become the property of the Contractor. Bidders are instructed to attach this Addendum No. 1 to the front cover of your Invitation for Bids book and insert the new and/or revised pages and plan sheets prior to submitting your bid.
