                    SMALL BUSINESS RESERVE PROCUREMENTS           
           
The following are a Small Business Reserve Procurements for which award           
will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors.  Only businesses that           
meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement           
Article,  14-501 - 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are           
registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve           
Program are eligible for award of a contract.

Description:   Mechanical cleaning and sweeping of roadways and shoulders           
               at various locations in Allegany County           
           
Pre-Bid Conference: 10:00 AM, October 29, 2007 at the State Highway           
                    Administration's District 6 Office, located at 1251           
                    Vocke Road, LaVale, MD 21502           
           
Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-           
determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids.  Bids must           
be made upon the blank proposal form which, with specifications and plans,           
will be furnished by the Administration upon application and cash payment           
noted.           
           
           
     NO REFUND FOR RETURN OF SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS.  Plans may be           
purchased from the Cashier's Office 211 E. Madison Street, Baltimore,           
Maryland  21202 (410-545-8490).  When material is mailed an additional 10%           
will be charged for mailing and handling.           
           
           
     The Administration reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
