Project Update

As of mid-May 2004, the project team has completed the following work:

Excavation for, and installation of, a new 24” diameter, reinforced concrete drainage pipe underneath the northbound side of York Road between south of Anneslie Road and north of Regester Avenue.
The pipe work included installation of four new manholes and seven new inlets.

Removal and replacement of curb and gutter along the northbound side of York Road between Anneslie Road and Stevenson Lane.

Work to be completed Summer 2004:

Removal and replacement of sidewalk and brick accents along the northbound side of York Road between Anneslie Road and Regester Avenue, including reconstruction of the pedestrian plaza between Dunkirk Road and Regester Avenue.

Removal and replacement of curb and gutter and sidewalk along the northbound side of York Road between Northern Parkway and Anneslie Road.

Removal and replacement of traffic signals along York Road at Stevenson Lane, Regester Avenue, Dunkirk Road and the York Road Plaza/Drumcastle Center.
