Martin Luther King Holiday

In observance of Martin Luther King, the Hauling Permit Office will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2007. Please plan your trips accordingly.

Public Information Meetings for the Truck Transfer were held December 12th by MD Transportation Authority. The truck transfer is for escorted over-sized vehicles, proposed to be located in the area of the I-95/ O'Donnell Street exit (near the Baltimore Travel Plaza) for loads leaving the Port and I-695 @ Md 702 for inbound loads. The proposed transfer sites will improve highway and motor-carrier safety by providing safe locations to await jurisdictional escorts.
