Construction work on Liberty Road (MD 26)

STAY ALERT! - Construction work on Liberty Road (MD 26) has started.

Construction work at the I-695/Liberty Road (MD 26) interchange is underway and Lady Liberty reminds motorists and area residents to stay alert for changes in traffic pattern. To reach I-695 North from eastbound MD 26, motorists must STAY LEFT and TURN LEFT at a temporary left-turn signal.

For questions about the project, please contact the SHA Construction Project Office: 410-277-4318 or by e-mail at [email protected].

As work continues, residents may see an increase in traffic through neighborhood streets. Pedestrians are advised that walking along Liberty Road under the I-695 bridge may bring additional safety hazards.  Stay alert for turning vehicles.
